PURPOSE OF the Leadership development Team
The team functions as the conduit and filter to provide healthy leadership for EFC-ER churches and provides avenues for the ongoing growth of leadership in Christian maturity, practical skills, and self-understanding.
WE WILL ACCOMPLISH OUR PURPOSE AS WE

Oversee the credentialing process for pastors
Recruit and develop a farming system
for potential pastor leaders Promote and resource spiritual formation for pastors
Oversee the annual Pastors Conference
Equip ministry leaders in the local church (worship, children, youth, adult)

Resource and encourage life-long learning
Provide assessment tools to help leaders with better self-awareness
Oversee providing internships and/or scholarships for leaders
Develop a structure for mentoring and/or coaching
Promote and resource for pastoral support in the midst of crisis
