GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES
EFC-ER sent out our first foreign missionary in 1887 when a young woman named Esther Butler boarded an ocean steamer bound for Nanking, China with instructions to “organize, institute, and govern a church or churches . . . under the guidance of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God.” Since that time, many other men and women have answered Jesus’ command to “go and make disciples of all nations.” Today, over 1,800 gatherings of Evangelical Friends representing more than 180,000 worshipers can be found in 36 countries on 5 continents!

EVANGELICAL FRIENDS MISSION
Believing that we are better together, EFC-ER partners with 5 other Regions of Evangelical Friends in North America in our Global Missions efforts through Evangelical Friends Mission (EFM). The mission of EFM is “to fuel a worldwide movement of people who seek first the kingdom of God, planting churches that live and die to carry out the Great Commission in the spirit of the Great Commandment.”

FUNDING GLOBAL MISSIONS
Our Global Missions efforts are supported by the Great Commission Budget (GCB), which is funded entirely through the generous, free-will giving of churches and individuals throughout EFC-ER. Your support of the GCB allows us to continue to make disciples of Jesus both around the world and around the corner.
