Men in Missions Retreat
April 30 through May 2nd brought men from across Eastern Region to the Cedar Lakes Conference Center in West Virginia to the annual Men in Missions Conference. Over 220 men and boys attended with the Ypsilanti Friends Church (Ypsilanti, Michigan) winning the prize for “most in attendance” (34). They also had the highest percentage attendance compared to each church's average Sunday morning worship service (26%).

The Lord was definitely working in Ripley, WV, as Gary Wright, Renewal, and Dr. John Williams shared in the weekend message and music. Gary challenged the men to become "1st Chair" Christian men; Renewal led us in energized worship; and Dr. John shared on the immediate need of acting on God's Word. Many men were challenged and made deeper commitments to the Lord to become better fathers, husbands and leaders.
