Continuing Transition & Continuing Mission

How is the church in Hong Kong faring during the transition to Chinese Rule?

A Double Decker Bus

The churches of the Hong Kong Evangelical Church continue kingdom-building work. Several of our churches have outgrown their facilities and need new places to meet. Many have caught a vision for missions and are involved in supporting missionaries, mission projects and sending their people on short-term mission trips. So far, since the handover in 1997, there has been no overt interference with the work of the church.
