Bethel Friends Initiates Intercession
The Spiritual Life Commission selects a person each week to be the focus of "care." During the morning worship service, a pre-selected intercessor presents that person's name to the congregation, states the reason for prayer (ie., healing, celebration, encouragement, etc.), leads the congregation in prayer, and encourages week long prayer for that person.
In addition, an appropriate card addressed to that person is placed in the Narthex and members of the congregation sign the card following the service. Bethel Friends has enjoyed this new method of helping individuals to feel accepted and recognized by a warm, loving and caring congregation.

Springfield Friends led Community in Easter Celebration
Ruth Powell, wife of Pastor John Powell, directed the community's Easter Cantata. Participants from several local churches joined together to prepare and perform in celebration of Easter. It was a significant time of fellowship and teamwork for all in the area.
Trinity Friends Supports "The Passion"
Trinity Friends in Van Wert, Ohio, nearly filled one of the theaters at The Rave Cinema in Fort Wayne as they took 350 people to see "The Passion of the Christ." Five individuals accepted Christ as personal Savior because of the movie. Other lives have also been greatly affected by the impact of the movie. "It is exciting to hear the good reports coming from our church family." Some have seen it more than once!
