Committed to making it easy to forget daily cares and reflect on God's wonder and glory, Camp Gideon offers a ideal place for retreats, leadership conferences, family renewal weekends, and mother/daughter and father/son getaways. God's created world provides many unique opportunities to deepen relationships and one's Christian walk through prayer, Bible study and other spiritual disciplines.

Although Camp Gideon rests in the country - where cattle graze on nearby hills and fields of wheat wave in the summer breeze - the year round facilities provide full conveniences for up to 100 people, including climate controlled lodges and dining facilities. Outside are found numerous hiking paths, sports fields, a ropes course and initiative games, and Canyon Lake (a full view of which can be seen from the balcony of Canyon Lodge.)

Each season brings its own special beauty and wonder at God's remarkable creation... and activities to suit. During the summer months Gideon comes alive with children enjoying a unique Christian camping experience. Canoeing, fishing, nature crafts, water slide, hiking, archery, ropes course, games, skits, and songs are all a part of Camp Gideon Summer Camp ministries.
From hiking trails and rustic camping to the contemporary Canyon Lodge and complete dining services, from serene winter hikes to active summer sports camps, Camp Gideon is a rare setting for fellowship, worship, and experiencing God. Yet Camp Gideon remains within a two-hour drive from such major cities as Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Columbus.
