Welcome, Friends Church Webmasters
As more and more Friends Churches start websites, we wanted to create a resource where webmasters could learn what other Friends churches are doing and discover new ideas.
In the future you will find links to online resources for designers, tips and tricks from other Friends webmasters, and announcements new EFC-ER material. If you have a favorite resource, suggestion, or question, please email us at webmaster@efcer.org.
We Want To Know Who You Are!
If you're the webmaster for an EFC-ER member church's official website, we'd like to know who you are. Please email the following to webmaster@efcer.org:
* Your name
* Your e-mail address
* Your church's name
* Your church's URL
* Your church's main e-mail address (if different from the one given above)
Note: Please indicate if the church's URL or e-mail address are different from those currently listed in the Online EFC-ER Church Directory. This is a very popular area of the website, and we want to make sure that you're represented.
Linking To EFC-ER
The EFC-ER website contains a good deal of information that could be useful to the users of your website. Consider providing a link to EFC-ER from your site. Not only will this help your users, but many search engines take into account the number and quality of links to and from you site. Linking to the EFC-ER site and increase traffic to all local friends church sites. There's several options:
Hypertext Link
The most basic is the hypertext link. Some recommended areas to link to are listed in the column to the right.
Banner Link
The following banner link is designed and maintained by EFC-ER. Simply copy the code below and paste it into the source code of your website. When someone loads your website, the graphic will be automatically retrieved from the EFC-ER server, allowing us to update the graphic throughout the year.
