Sunday Night
Dr. John P. Williams, Jr., General Superintendent for EFC-ER, will set the theme for our sessions by sharing on
"Daring to Change, Embracing the Unchanging."

Monday Night
Guest Speaker: Rev. Tim Gates.
Tim Gates, of New Church Specialities, spoke at the 2010 Spring Pastor's Conference. His style and message were greatly appreciated. We anticipate a meaningful time on Monday evening as he shares God's message.
 
Tim has served in pastoral ministry for 27 years and his ministry has been characterized by Re-Focusing traditional and dying churches into healthy, vibrant, and relevant churches with a strong focus on evangelism. He has been through several building projects, feasibility studies and Re Focus projects.

Tim also served as the vice-president for Samaritan Charities, a Nazarene Compassionate Center in Texarkana that ran two thrift stores, an Alcohol and Drug rehabilitation center and aided in medical and financial assistant to senior adults. For several years, Tim served as the Mission Strategy Director for the Illinois District Church of the Nazarene.

Tim joined the staff of NCS in 2006 serving as the National Coaching Director and continuing to pastor Texarkana, TX. In November of 2008 he joined the NCS full time continuing as the National Coaching Director and as a Senior Consultant.

He oversees 100 coaches across the United States to provide quality church consulting and coaching to build healthy, growing churches in 26 denominations. Tim lives with his wife and best friend, Vicky, in Orlando, FL.

Tim and Vicky have two children:  Daric, 28, lives in Burbank, California with his wife, Holly;
and Alison, 26, lives in Orlando, Florida.

Tuesday Evening's Guest Speaker is Don Golden, with World Relief.
Don serves as senior vice president of church engagement at World Relief in Baltimore, Maryland. His passion to help churches help the poor and oppressed has taken him to more than 60 countries. Don spent three years as lead pastor of Mars Hill Bible Church and ten years serving as a missionary in Europe prior to his current role.
 
Don and his wife, Lynn, have three daughters, Emily, Olivia, and Sophie and a dog named Buckwheat.
 
He holds a Master’s of Philosophy from the University of Wales and recently co-authored a book with Rob Bell, Jesus Wants to Save Christians (Zondervan Oct. 2008) about the church’s calling to serve the most vulnerable.
