WITHIN THE MINISTRY
|
Voicu and Ana Marian along with their children, Christina and John have spent the last three years in Romania. God has opened many doors of ministry. Below, Ana shares a glimpse into their ministries in Romania:
Celebrating one of the girls' decision to follow Jesus. |
"We have a ministry to young adult girls who have grown in an orphanage, evangelizing and discipling them. These are mostly Gypsy girls from schools for "special needs" children. We provide housing for them and teach them to maintain it; help them to integrate socially and function in society once they find a work place; teach them to manage their earnings; help them to heal emotionally by just being there; lead them to know Christ (see picture of "Birthday Celebration" on other side) and guide them to become part of a healthy Christian church were they can grow spiritually. By the grace of God we try to be the family they never had."
Second Outreach point: Teaching English in Orlat
"Last fall we started teaching English in the village of Orlat, to about 40 children ages 11-14 in a community where there is no evangelical church. We heard that efforts to evangelize this strictly Orthodox community, but with no success. The fact that we've been accepted into the public schools has been an answer to prayer. We trust that as we love them, children and teachers alike, they will open their hearts to receive the Good News."
Third Outreach Point: English & Bible Lessons in Saliste

Fourth Outreach Point: Adult Home Bible Study
Several months ago, we started an adult Bible Study in our apartment with people that we met randomly, a neighbor, a lady who works at our bank, another lady whom we taught English and helped her family in different situations... Most often we get to spiritually minister to people at their time of material, spiritual, social, emotional, etc. needs. As it is said, "Preach the Gospel, and if necessary, use words."
