Brewster Friends Dedicates Family Life Center
A Year of Progress Reported at Friends Worship Center in Columbus, Ohio
Friends Worship Center underwent a significant effort in refocusing last year. With the close, hands-on support and encouragement of Canton First Friends and Gilead Friends, Bruce Bell along with his wife Judy, stepped in to reopen the church in the fall of 2003.All are grateful to report that the attendance and finances have more than doubled; and two outreach events in the summer had 145 and 205 in attendance.

Friends Church in Brewster, Ohio, Dedicates Family Life Center
Brewster Friends have been enjoying their new Family Life Center. The multi-purpose building includes a gym, kitchen, and a large foyer with future plans to complete the lower level for Sunday School rooms.
For their day of dedication, former pastor Brian Teague and wife Nancy were invited to share in message and song. Pastor Teague was serving at Brewster Friends during the building of the existing sanctuary. He was thankful to be part of the celebration for this new phase of ministry. Dr John P. Williams, Jr. representing the Eastern Region office, shared encouragement and a signed basketball as well.
